To compete with others, a dealer must know how to bridge sales & service, and unfortunately, this dealership feels like a roller coaster ride with too many ups and downs. I was provided a certified pre-owned GV80 for approximately 19 days, and during that time, I put nearly 2000 miles on it. I kept the vehicle exceptionally clean, and I even spent $30.00 at Todd’s Car Wash to make sure it was returned in the same condition I received it 3 weeks prior. The devil is in the details so when I noticed the sweat stains on my head rest and the dried residue on my fan blower button, I politely drove away in my old G90. In 2 years no one has impressed me more than Tiffany Babb. She needs a raise, or I’m going to recruit her.

Genesis of Lafayette went above, and beyond. Excellent service kept me informed with every detail that was happening with my car. Had a last minute location address change and they accommodated very well. My car needed a maintenance service and they also cleaned and detailed like it was brand new coming off the car lot. I love my car and I love that the service they provide is 100% top-notch matches the level of luxury.

I'm glad my vehicle was fixed but it just took way too long from the time I initially took it in I waited 4 months and it was me who had to call over and over to get an update finally Tiffany said the system showed the part was already in which no one notified me of . And also while it was in service I took it in on the 10th of August so I was there one day short of two weeks and no body called to give me an update as to what was going on or how much longer until yesterday when once again I have to call over and over for like two days no one returns the calls and I called Mark Hebert my salesman ( he has always been super friendly and helpful) to please go check on my vehicle and oh yeah it's ready . I just feel like it's a lack of customer service from the service department they lack common customer courtesy.

I will never do business with this location again! My salesman (woman) was amazing, but when it comes to service that’s a big negative - !! They sell you on white glove service, but I have yet to see it! Tiffany is rude and horrible at her job! She doesn’t return calls, in fact my insurance claim adjuster had left her messages for days to the point where he physically was going to have to go up there to get the information he needed! They “fixed” my car and brought it back to me with a newly ruined part that they damaged while taking it apart… a new noise when I use my breaks that wasn’t there when I dropped it off and the steering so tight I could barely turn it!!! Tiffany told me to bring it back to them and they would put me in a loaner… Great, considering I had to travel across two different bridges to go out of town the next day… I take the care right back to them within hours of them dropping it off to me (amd within minutes of speaking with her on phone as I was as already on the way to their store) and when I got to her, She said I do not have a loaner for you… After she just told me to bring her the vehicle… So after speaking with her supervisor they then said sorry this isn’t our problem it needs to go back to the original body shop… (keep in mind this is a 2023 GV70 Genesis. I had been hit on the front side and this is what has caused major issues.) Sooooo when they fixed the part that they needed to fix they returned it to me with a whole new set of problems including fresh damage to my interior! Then they did not want to take responsibility for it, or provide me with a loaner and try to send it back to the original body shop… So it’s about 2 pm on a Friday and they tell me “ My technician is pretty sure it’s not a safety concern, so if you can’t sit and let us put it on the rack or leave it, bring it back on Monday and we will look at then.” All while knowing I had to travel this weekend… In a car they returned to me as “fixed” a few hours earlier! I will NEVER EVER do business with Sterling Hyundai or Genesis of Lafayette ever again!!
